Paul and Karen run a variety of workshops and mentoring sessions, limited to a maximum of three people at a time.
Tuition and mentoring opportunities
We offer tailored courses for up to three people on a range of techniques including lino/relief print; lithography including stone, pronto plate, and zinc plate; and etching.
We also welcome artists wanting one-to-one mentoring sessions.
Who can benefit
All sessions are designed for the individual whether as a beginner or an artist looking to hone skills, develop a specific technique, or explore a new direction. We wish to provide equal opportunities for all.
Sessions are in English.
Because of the nature of some materials and methods, anyone under the age of 16 years must be accompanied.
Access to the studio is step-free but some facilities within the building have stepped access.
Costs
Sessions include all materials as noted for a particular technique. Additional materials can be purchased at cost on the day.
Sessions are £80 for either a morning (10 am to 1 pm) or an afternoon (1 pm to 4 pm). Full-day sessions are £150 (10 am to 4 pm) with a short break for lunch. Other times may be available by arrangement.
Assisted Open Access can be arranged on an individual basis at £75 per full day, with an additional cost for studio materials.
Mentoring sessions are available at £20/hour.

All sessions are run at our studio at designermakers21 which is at 21 St Nicholas Street, Diss, Norfolk, IP22 4LB.
When
The studio is available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Sessions can be booked to suit participants, subject to availability.
